Meet the Author: Maricarmen Campos Castro

WarriorsBookMeet the author Maricarmen Campos Castro during Exhibits and Networking at Mission Connections: Listening to all voices on 6th February, 2016, Tustin Presbyterian Church and chat with her about her book Warriors.

Campos’ new title packs the punch when it comes to winning in the spiritual realm.

The new book by Maricarmen Campos Castro, WARRIORS: In the Spiritual Battle, Victory is Ours, ($13.99, paperback, 9781498414951; $6.99, e-book, 9781498414968) is an engaging composition that addresses the subject of spiritual warfare at length. Readers will not only understand who their spiritual enemy is, but they will be educated on his tactics, the rules of spiritual battle, and which resources and spiritual weapons are available to the Christian.

“I hope that readers will be able to go beyond understanding the theory of spiritual warfare, and go into the praxis of applying the real power and strength of Christ in their daily life expressions, in simple, relevant, powerful, and practical ways,” states the author. “I believe I am adding a necessary voice to contrast with the diversity of contemporary expressions. Also, personally, I have found a lot of material about the subject of spiritual warfare that tends to be a little scary, so I wanted to communicate it in a light and non-threatening way.”

Rev. Maricarmen Campos Castro is an ordained Presbyterian (PCUSA) Teaching Elder and a missionary to the world. She holds a bachelor’s degree from University São Paulo and a Master of Divinity from San Francisco Theological Seminary. She has also studied Early Childhood Development at University of California Los Angeles and has undertaken further theological studies from Princeton Theological Seminary and Candler School of Theology.
